More importantly, this points to my biggest quibble: the graphics are simply not what I would expect out of a 2013 game. I have to suppress a giggle each time I see these awkward faces that look just enough like the real deal that we can't help but remember we're playing a game. It's a tremendously difficult thing to do. I'm not sure that's the game's fault, really I feel the same way about Beyond Two Souls and other games that attempt to replicate the features of famous actors. The platforming felt quite a bit less polished and clunkier, though the material we previewed was not a finished build.Īnd while I enjoyed the game's dialogue, I have to admit that the faces of these familiar characters threw me for a loop. The shooting elements work pretty well though nothing jumped out at me as particularly special.

Since I didn't play split-screen, I can't report on how that functions, but I absolutely hate split-screen so I admit I was relieved to play on the dual-screen setup instead. If we'd played on one machine it would have been split-screen. I played with another game journalist on two screens-basically online co-op on the couch.

This means that you can play local, online, or solo with AI.
